Just wondering whether it comes with the support poles and if not what do you use?
I (think) it's just the tarp not the poles. For a tarp it's pretty expensive, I'd suggest having a look at the tarps on www.ddhammocks.co.uk much cheaper and the big one is massive, you can fold it to pretty much make a tent with groundsheet.
Use sticks, your bike or suspend it from trees ... you'll always manage to sort someting out. Plenty of info on the site about using a tarp too.
Stuart
i bought a massive camo tarp from ebay for £12 and some eylets and made up a microtarp. have used the remaining material as a huge tarp. planning on chopping it down to a 3x3m tarp. still be loads left.
I use a Quechua tarp from Decathlon. 3x3m, Cost about £20 inlcuding two (heavyish) aluminium poles, pegs and guy-ropes. Its a bit basic and needed a few more eyelets added but seems ok for Bivvying. I might change the poles for some lighter fibreglass ones if I see some going cheap.
The Alpkit Rig tarp is bit on the expensive side but has loads of eyelets and hook loops, looks well made (like all alpkit gear) and seems pretty light too so would be good for weight weenies. It doesnt include any poles though but its made to use walking poles.
Cheers Stuart that DD one looks great
