Did anyone on here do the Dales Etape yesterday? Was it hard or is it just me, I'm knackerd!

Yes I did. I didn't think the route was "that" hard but the weather conditions didn't help, especially if you forget your waterproof 🙄
I do have sore knees today but pushing a 39/25 gear doesn't help.

I've only been on the roadbike once this year so suppose that's not great training! Also doing it on your own when all those other buggers were working as groups. gggrrrrr

Sure in other weather could have been a fun day. The wind and rain were bloody miserable though.
On the plus side after some impromptu off roading on one of the descents have discovered mavic ksyriums are pretty bombproof!
