Any thoughts or experience of Rivelo kit?

Sport Pursuit seems to be always full of Rivelo kit. I've read positive reviews, but I'm wondering if it receives the official STW thumbs up, or if it's actually a bit meh?

Rivelo is their own brand.

I've a few items (couple of jerseys, a jacket and two bibs) and rate them all highly. Fit has been good. Quality and comfort right up there.

Is there anything in particular you're looking at.

Works well for me.
I have several sets of liners, a pair of softshell shorts and the stormfleece jacket.
I get in really well with them all and would def buy again but they are holding up so well that i doubt i will need to replace anytime soon

I bought some shoes for £50 from SP, they seem well made, as good quality as any Northwave or Shimano I’ve had. Boa type system works well, be interested to how it lasts

Thumbs up from me too, and a BIG thumbs up from Mrs who is head to toe rivelo (merino mix base layer, various weights and sleeve length jerseys, cycling shorts, and even socks. In fact the only non-Rivelo thing she wears on the bike is shoes which she's never tried.
All of it seems well made from good materials.

Thanks - forgot to ask about the sizing - "road whippet" or "larger gentleman"? I'm looking for bib shorts and a jersey. Every normal item of clothing I own pretty much is L, but in cycling tops I end up with XXL and shorts/tights XL.

I bought a stormfleece last year and it's great for the bike, just bought another in a different colour. Can recommend, did buy again

Sizing seems pretty accurate to me. My one gripe is that the arms on the stormfleece jacket are quite narrow so i would be pushing it to get more than one layer underneath.
I don't have popeye arms either

I've got a couple of road jerseys, bib shorts, bib longs and a couple of MTB jerseys. Really nicely made, I'd say stand up pretty well next to Castelli, Le Col etc at a usefully lower price. Sizing is accurate - neither Italian Whippet, nor Audi driving biffer.

I got some of their softshell shorts, mostly for work and commuting but they had their first proper ride today - I’m actually rather impressed. They’re basically an untaped 3 layer breathable waterproof.

Yep. All good here.

Bought a softshell jacket a few years back. Has worn very well. Zip still good, no threads unravelling. Shower proof.

A good design point is the end of the sleeve is long and the elastic is 2-3 inches up the sleeve, meaning that glove/sleeve interface does not get all bunched up and uncomfortable.

Rear pockets are 'high' up, but pocket contents (phone, neck tube etc) sit in the small of your back.

I am XL in size, and this jacket is true to size.

Previous model to this:

Its a 'good' from me.

Yep - I'd agree with this. In fact, I can really only wear mine over a short sleeve jersey.

My first experience was a pertex waterproof shell which was great until I was actually on the bike. It bunched up all over the place and wasn't particularly nice to wear. Seems well made though. One thing to note is that I gave it to a buddy of mine who wears it without complaint. Maybe it's just me being fussy. 😀

I do have some bibs and jerseys, they're very good for the discounted price - have lasted a good 6, maybe 7 years now.

They’re not the largest fit. I have some XXL jeans and a top, and normally wear an XL. Still a bit snug.

They’re more ‘whippet’ than ‘whopper’

I have stormfleece jacket and Kentmere long sleeve Jersey. Very happy with both.

I find sizing is pretty average. I'm slightly on cuddly size and find the sizing table recommendations fit fine.

The storm fleece is super comfy and soft feeling, very breathable and has some resistance to showers. I wear it as light jacket or a mid layer and find it works great on the bike, walking and skiing.

The long sleeve jersey is well made, has a good fit and is well stitched and looks like a good quality item.

Just to follow up my own question with my experience - I just ordered a short sleeve jersey in XL and XXL. The XL was too small (predictably). The XXL was a bit roomier than many brands I've had and I would have kept it, but the zip was faulty and seemed to be of a pretty poor quality - quite flimsy material.

So these will be going back and I won't be trying them any more. Maybe I am unlucky and/or hasty judging from the positive comments here.
