So, it was Wednesday night, we were excited after a snowy night ride, we were thawing out in the pub, beer may have been consumed......
It seems plans were made to have a go at bivvying with an overnight expedition involving the High Peak and Tissington Trails - so anyone bivvied up there, and can recommend a pub for the evening meal?

We once stayed in the old quarry at Middleton Top once (handy public loos for freshening up in the morning) after a great dinner and beers in the Rising Sun nearby. Camp more remotely if you're not an early riser.
