I know they are only just starting to show in stock, but has anyone ridden then or seen any press reviews? I'm most interested in the RLT Ti. Actually I'd probably prefer a world cup, but I think that's only a tapered steerer; the Ti has pretty much the same internals.

They could be interesting, if there wasn't enough flexing in the 80mm they now go and produce a 120mm. Is there really a market for a lightweight 120mm fork?
My SIDs would visibly flex under braking, at times it looked like they would fold under the frame, still love them though...

Don, I take you were talking about old style SIDs with 28.6mm stanchions?

They were renowned for being noodly.

The new 32mm forks are very stiff for a "race" fork

My current u-turn Rebas are 32mm stanchions, so I'm hoping that a new SID will be similar in stiffness (especially with a 15mm axle) but save a nice bit of weight.

Is there really a market for a lightweight 120mm fork?

I reckon. Well, me for a start 😉 Acutally there are plenty of 100 - 120mm lightweight FS bikes about (and hard tails for that matter) that have Fox F32 FIT forks on them which seem to be the obvious competitor to a 120mm SID.

A friend of mine has a pair of the 120's & his opinion is that they are stiffer than last yrs 100's..
