[Closed] Any reason for leaking fork seals that isn't worn seals or stanchions

A few months ago the seals on my lyriks started leaking so I changed them for SKF seals and they were fine until a couple of weeks ago.ย  They started leaking so I replaced them with Enduro seals but the leaking hasn't stopped after another four rides.ย  It's definitely not excess judy butter, it's oil from the lowers.

There isn't any obvious wear on the stanchions and that's two sets of seals that aren't working (the SKFs hadn't had enough use to be worn out, I reckon).

I put 15ml of rockshox oil in each leg.

There's no detectable play in the bushings so I'm stuck as to what it could be. any ideas?

The oil seals are definitely the right way round and seated properly.

It's not something I'd concern myself with, as long as you don't run them dry it's not an issue?.

How bad is the leak?

If you wet out the foam rings as you should, it's possibly just a bit of residue from them. I'd be surprised if all those seals failed so quick unless installed drastically wrong.

Well, the oil isn't running down the lower legs but it's still more than I'm comfortable with.ย  These forks have been fine for years with no leaks at all so I'm trying to understand what's made them decide to start leaking now.ย  Especially since everything appears to still be in good shape.

There aren't any foam rings with the Enduro seals so it's not that.ย  I don't think the SKF seals failed since they had been run for such a short period and the Enduro seals were leaking right from the off.

I've had bad enduro one's before - one side leaked the other stripped the anodising off the stanchion. I'd be trying genuine rockshox ones to be sure.

Excessive bushing play? Meaning there is more movement between the legs and the lowers than the seals can stretch to?

No, as I said, there's barely any play.ย  Certainly no more than before.

Are the forks working fine otherwise?ย  could it be excess pressure in the lowers?ย  Is it the correct amount of oil in the lowers?

Forks are spot on otherwise which is why I'm struggling to figure out what's happened.ย  They're coil forks (assuming you meant pressure in the negative air chamber) and I used the correct oil and volume according to the manual.
