I've got the oppotunity to get a couple of hours blasting round my old "local" trails of Thetford forest this sunday morning. Does anyone know if there're any races or other stuff on that's going to spoil my fun?

Don't think there is this weekend. Next one is the Thunder Enduro at the end of June.
To be sure have you checked the Thetford mtb racing website?
I was there last week on the Brandon side & it was almost bone dry. There's been quite a lot of feeling, so you might have to make the odd detour, although trails are quickly being re-established.
