Any Questions?

It might end up more 'I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue' than Any Questions, and viewers of our videos may have noticed that getting Benji to a conclusion is like a round of Mornington Crescent, but it's worth a go...

We'll be recording our next Fresh Goods Friday video waffle tomorrow, so does anyone have any questions they'd like us to attempt to answer?

What (if any) events have you all got planned for this year? Or big riding trips/goals? For work or otherwise. And does working in 'the industry' provide more inspiration/motivation to do stuff, or less as things pop up through work anyway?

I confess my MTB events are thin on the ground and have more arranged for gravel, but looking forward to Glentress7 and trying the Badger Divide.

What song do you sing in your head on scary trails? I have a bad flute music version of Indiana Jones.

Are there bike related tasks, types of riding or locations where you now find joy that you previously didn't? And then the same question in reverse.

Do you ever actually get to all go for a bike ride together?

Do you get to go ride your bikes much at all?

Do you/is it accepted that riding bikes is part of the job and thus you get time during 'work hours' to ride bikes?

Fundamentally, on the basis that you are all presumably doing a regular week of work running a magazine business/writing/editing/maintaining a website/selling ad space/running a BnB in the middle of France etc….

That must leave you with about as much time to ride bikes as normal folk. Which is, actually, not a lot. Spread over multiple test bikes and kit, I struggle to see how anyone other than a 'MynamesGuy!' style dedicated bike tester can actually properly review more than a handful of bikes or bits a year.

Do you ever get odd looks from passersby whilst doing the FGF photos?

@FunkyDunc Partly because that room is cold, and partly because my hair is feral.

@dissonance Pretty much every single time. Odd looks preferable to the lecherous ones associated with bib short/sports bra pics.

With the recent changes to the magazine, will there be an increase in quality of the pdf version?

The photography is one of the reasons that makes the mag so great but seems a shame for it to be so pixelated in the pdf. A little bump in pdf image quality would be greatly appreciated 🙏

"scream if you wanna go faster" by gerri halliwell but sung by lemmy. I sometimes manage to conflate the video too. I realize my head is not always a sensible place to be.

Another date with the video camera looms. Do you have any more questions, or perhaps test requests, this week?

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

What's the worst bit about bike/kit testing?

…test requests, this week?

I once heard that it’s possible to survive on dog food alone. Could someone test that?

To a non-English person these places sound like something out of Beowulf. Does Grendel work for STW?
