Do you mean Ribble Grand Fondo? Sorry I can't help as I don't have one, but am in the market for a new road bike so wil keep an eye on this thread.

They're a series of 'specials' that PX are doing - you can get a Gran Fondo version of the new N2A and the Pro Carbon by the looks of it (which is the £1099 one you've seen, I think).

They're sportive versions (in their words) of their popular full bike builds and the one you've seen appears to feature a SRAM 'climber kit' with a dinner plate on the back and probably a couple of other little tweaks over the standard £1000 jobbie. Depends if you need it I guess? The regular version of that bike - same geometry, so same ride, you'd think - is a stonker for the money and a very popular bike. Full carbon frame and fork and decent kit on it too. I've got a PX Nanolight Hi Mod and rate that very highly.

I got one a couple of months ago when they were £999

I didn't specifically get it for the Sram WiFli kit but because the rest of the kit was better quality than the standard build. I may yet take the WiFli kit off but apart from slightly wider ratios it works very well.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the bike at first and thought it felt like a collection of parts rather than a single machine - don't know why that was, couldn't put my finger on it. Since changing the stem and saddle and a few more miles on it, I like it a lot
