im getting a dirt jump bike for training,its comeing from scott but its a case of which one to get?

do i go with susp or rigid forks baisically?
Just bought a spesh P1 as wanted a play bike to sharpen my skills. Fully rigid and seems a lot of fun, seems like a nice frame and decent kit. Nearly bought the Scott but was impatient and could get the spesh quicker. I still suck on jumps but will hopefully improve.
