jsut got mine through the post and they don't seem to make sense!
i have the xt/saint matchmakers with M780i shifters
i could just be being blond......
can anyone post a picture of theirs fairly close up so i can see how they work please.

You need the XTR matchmakers with the i-spec shifters. The XTR ones have a sliding slot. I did the same, and once I'd got the correct ones was quite surprised that Hope have failed (a bit) with these.
The Shimano XTR shifters have the main bolt plus a secondary locating pin. The Hope ones just have the bolt and while this doesn't seem to impact the RH shifter the LH one comes loose and in the end I just have it sat 'pushed-up'.
