Looks like "blowing the tent away" weather with added blizzard conditions, according to the Met Office.

I was thinking that a few minutes ago. I'm glad I'm not there. Certainly the wildest weekend of the winter so far.

Live results are here.

I had to pull out because my partner had work commitments and it was too late to get anyone to commit to taking his place. Was ambivalent about it until today...

This is gripping! Like watching cricket on CEEFAX.

Dave did a slow lap, Shaggy got past. Now Dave's just put 2 laps in quicker than Shaggy, and he's only 6mins behind him!

What a great race up there, and cool results from Sport Ident.

True Ed. Kind of puts night of puking, screaming, getting up early children into perspective.

Though to be honest, I know where I'd rather be!

Everytime (OK, the twice) I've done a 24hr solo, I always think "You like riding your bike? Now you can do it for a WHOLE DAY without someone bugging you about it..."
