Hi does anybody know with the rs-8 x-type cranks if I wanted to run it on my singlespeed all i would need is a middleburn uno chainring? i wouldn't need a spider? also are they compatible with pace bb's?cheers for the help

They will be fine with the Pace BB, although have a search on STW as some people have had issues with them.
Not sure if you can use a uno chainring as the Middleburn site says that it's currently 4 arm spiders, with other options to come. Worth giving them a call as they were very helpful. I got mine through 18bikes who were really good.
As sslowpace says, at the mo they are 4-arm only, the offset is different to the square taper/isis cranks. I'm running mine with a single ring for an alfine. The uno and duo set ups are due soon but no confirmed date yet.
