That sounds like a good idea! Might be interested if it would be able to provide activities for the non riding other half.

Kramer
when based in bourg, you can pretty much ride all week without much uphill pain.

We could be interested, I'd probably ride and Mrs F would ride a little and do some walking in the hills.

ton - still worth paying for uplift, unless you particularly like climbing.

oh no thanks you very much.
I already have to put up with you on here without to have to consider waiting for you all day long on trail you can't neither ride fast up nor down 😉

Could do you a good deal if you decide on to make it the Spanish Costas. http://www.sierracycling.com . Also good for non-biking other halves.

I'd be up for this if it is based in France, I will probably be over the italian side during the summer, maybe a couple of days in Pila and the singletrack joy that is La Thuile? (Pila is often dry when it is raining on the frenchy side)

Go for a dryer bit than Morzine e.g. the valais, pila, somewhere more sunny and a bit less expensive than france.

Might as well drop in and offer a group deal as well! We can only take 8 at present, but planning to increase that to at least 12, maybe 16 for next summer.

The Sainte Foy / Les Arcs / Bourg Saint Maurice area is much, much drier than Morzine BTW. No mud, ever.

if you were thinking bourg st maurice, I'd recommend giving ash at trailaddiction a shout, he might do you a deal. They can take 25 to 30 in a week (in twin and triple ensuite rooms) and have about 5 or 6 guides I think. And they are located right on the lift system too (no time wasted pedalling or sitting in vans to get to the lifts).

Actually I think mike from dialledbikes was going to arrange an owners trip back there next summer too.

Hmm, what if you are a STW forum member AND a dialledbikes owner. Is this a loyalty test? 😉

bourg + White room would work (literally just down the road) Had a great time with a large group this year but open to anything...

As for an STW holiday fest, well it might be a bit of a sausage-fest but I reckon it would be a good laugh, I'm provisionally in...

Teetoo, we drove down and took MTB and road bikes (sorry) and really enjoyed it 😀 the Alps/big hills in general ROCK!!!

If I can swing it with the Mrs I'd be up for it. Probably when she goes to see the inlaws.
