Please buy some proper winter gloves and socks you will get frost bite!
Snow, Afan drains quite well so you don't often get proper "mud" maybe some slush!

Was planning on going this weekend too but suspect that we will give it a miss for a week or so allowing the snow to thaw. So my prediction is it will be cold and still plenty of snow around.

You also may want to paint your legs black to absorb more heat.
