Up there with work tomorrow morning and was wondering if anyone knew of any good trails that are closer than Glentress/Inners as I'll be fighting the dark...
Cheers
Was in Thrunton nearer Alnwick on Boxing Day great trails if your heading from the south
Thanks for the info Mike. I might give that a go as its on the way home. Cheers
You could try the Ellidons just south of Melrose for a quick blast.
Alternatively if you had a little more time you could probably do something around the Three brethren above Selkirk.
There is also the Justice trail at Jedburgh. Not tried it myself yet but I haven't heard great things about it.

With the recent rain we've had this will be a wet muddy fest as it's based on non armoured trails for the main, sorry ๐ also it's not to everyone's taste.
The Eildons are a good option; you could either go up down what's there, or you could follow a route from Melrose over the Eildons, St Cuthbert's Way, back over the Eildons and return to Melrose.
There's a cracking Cheviot ride from Kirk Yetholm, although the ground might be a bit soggy so to speak.
Both routes on here MOD: Image removed due to malware
Nice one - cheers guys! An extended lunch hour to check these out is needed me thinks...
