Bit short notice, but the opportunity to go riding has cropped up tomorrow. I am thinking of heading either to Micheldever or Basingstoke train station, then exploring the area just south of Basingstoke. There seems to be a fair bit of bridleway etc. there. Is it worth it? Are there any areas in particular I should visit?
If you go to Micheldever, you could potentially slog it northwards up to Watership Down territory.
Alternatively if you go to Basingstoke, cross the M3 towards Cliddesden.
There is the odd gem though, happy to help with more specific trails. E-mail in profile.

Thanks CG, are you the unofficial MTB guru of the South or something!
