I was about to suggest CRC for the Joplins too. Mr MC just got one and liked it, although you need to zip tyre an inner tube or the like around the post to stop all the cr** getting in or it stops working pretty rapidly. Mr MC said it was super easy to take apart and re-grease though.

Joplin 3 from CRC for ~£90
Use for ~3months
Main seal blows and dumps oil out of bottom (irrespective of tube/gaiter around top seal)
Return Joplin 3 to importers
Importers kindly replace with OEM Joplin 4...

Just a small point worth noting. We had a short period of upgrading Joplin 3s to 4s as we did not have the correct parts to repair them. This has changed now and our policy is always to repair rather than replace.
