Looking to fit some new forks on a 2007 Specialized Hardrock Sport.

1 1/8th Steerer. I'm guessing 100mm would be the max travel you'd want/need.

Any good deals about?

I would if it were me but it's for a mate who wants new so you get a warranty etc etc.

Would 120mm upset the geometry of th efront end?

That's about as much as the whole bike cost new!

Yeah BoardinBob's right - good deal but not worth it on this level of bike.

Was thinking more like Marzocchi 22 RLOs which can be had for around £130 or bit more for the Remote version.

Would the 120mm version be too much for the bike height wise?

I've got some Rockshox J4s (adjustable travel) with remote lockout you can have for a tenner + postage.

Can guarantee they'll need a bit of TLC as they've been sitting in my shed for a couple of years; once that's done they'll be okish forks once more.
