I had a great weekend. Competition not really my thing but loads going on and 600 entries in the various disciplines.

Anyone else enjoy it?

Didn't make it but lots from here did
Scott Bowden (won XC under 21)
Alex Lack (won XC u19)

and many more
One of the Hobart girls got taken out and bike smashed in the Eliminator so not the best result for her.

Heading back up to Bright in April for some good riding, great trails round there.

was up there a couple of years ago too, the vid reminds me how bonkers the dust was, every tree was covered, hard to see and breath.

Never crossed my mind the DH lot in full face helmets. Poor sods, it was hot.

@Mike. If you want some company for your rides when over here let me know.

@BigRich, try the Wittbeer for something a little different.

Just trying to fill some evenings, just spied it's only 30 mins out to the You Yangs on the train. I've got a team 24hr in a couple of weeks so trying to keep the legs going.

plenty gorge park, lots of singletrack. Lysterfield is getting wider and flatter.

you catch the train to little river, then ride to the youies: I rode that place too much and don't go there.

I can show you round one of the days if you like.
