Just ordered an Anthem X 29er 1 and was wondering about the weight and quality of the wheelset. It comes as standard with Giant P-XC29-2 rims and hubs. There's a bit of cash left in the budget so I'm thinking of upgrading straight away and selling the standard wheels on.

I have these wheels on my XTC composite 29, i was quite suprised how light they feel and the bearings run pretty smoothly. On the downside they do feel a little fragile and flexy (its my 1st 29er so may have something to do with it) which is noticable on a bend at speed. Oh and they mark easliy, doesnt seem like there is much paint on them.
But overall for a factory wheelset they arent that bad really.
