If its just for your turbo work, what about an ANT+ USB stick and hook it up to a PC/Laptop and use Trainer road on it?
Garmin 500.
Garmin GS10 sensor and ANT+usb stick (from garmin) link it to something on the PC, after that the 510 with all the goodies
I use trainerroad with my laptop (Suunto Ant+ USB thingee with the Garmin software) and then for tracking the rides because I'm lazy and don't want to have to download the TR rides and upload to Strava, I have the virtualpower function sending the power output to my Edge 800. So it's a little bit of an Ant+ circle jerk really 😉
