Last night, despite ripping my knee ligs again the previous night i decided not to rest but to have a gentle spin across them there hills.
Arriving at dead womans ditch i clocked a few police cars in the car park, turns out a couple kids were late back form their short ride and their mother naturally called the fuzz.
The kids, one 16yr old girl and her 11 year old brother had a brief plan to ride from Holford pub, straight up Holford combe, up ladies combe, right at the road to the car park, 2 and a half hours later panic set in.(possibly knowing i'd be out there somewhere..)
After a an hr of ups and downs, stopping a listening, i found them descending from round the back of the bowling green car park, the police man had managed to contact the girl whilst she was on higher ground and told them to make their way to the pub carpark, so i escorted them back there and proceeded to chat up and gain the phone numbers of the 2 lady pcso's who come to make sure all was well.....i then finished my ride, went to my local for one pint, and ended up having a lock in, *hic*
sounds like business as usual at letch central then !!!
if it isn't horsey types deer rubber fetishists now it's the law is anything out of bounds !!!!! 😉
I don't do men...thats pretty much all though..oh and hedgehogs for obvious reasons.......
