Poor bugger. Saw it on our local news. RIP chap.
I knew the guy by sight, a very well regarded young chef in one of our locals. Really tragic loss. More to that story than simply a guy on a bike hit by a car I believe. Will find out more later in the week probably.

And the cyclist has been named, but strangely not the driver who hit him and then drove off and later abandonded the car.

Both leaving the same pub at 01:50am with the accident happening outside the pub. Sounds suspicious.
There was a hit and run in greenfield too on Sunday, only slight injuries though luckily
