Both of my SLX calipers failed today!
Rear went with what felt like a pop: and pulled to the lever. Quick check show oil peeing out of caliper.
Decided to check the front by pulling the lever as hard as I could: bad idea.
It went pop too!
Anyway - I got them new in April 2018 from Bike-Discount and have emailed them.
Anyone had any experience with them? Just wondering if I need to buy something to tide me over.

Not for shimano specifically, but I've returned other things to them in the past. Couple of weeks I'd guess. Don't they have an automated return thing, just find the old order and print a return slip?
It wouldn't surprise me if they are quicker than my experience via Madison here in the UK.... 5 weeks it took them!
Good luck but remember your in the hands of the warranty gods. Don't go asking for the CEO's email if they haven't been returned by the end of the week 😂
Yes they were slow initially, but they then offered us to go via local shop and covered costs. Local shop posted back to get them warrantied etc.
Thanks all. Sounds positive if a little slow.
