I'm setting some goals for next summer and am looking for suggestions on any decent roady/gravel/cross events for next summer (to be ridden on my Scott Addict CX10)
So far I've entered Superbike Dolomiti in the Italian Dolomites (featured on GCN a few weeks ago) Link to website.
And La Resistance in the French Alps Link to website.
Got any more hot tips? I'm away from. the UK for the whole of the summer so can't get to any UK events, but Europe is my oyster. What's on your radar?
Cheers!
I did this event in June, 50/50 gravel tarmac, crossing the Pyrenees twice 350km with a 20hr cutoff. Not for the faint hearted.
Some friends of mine have done n Tuscany Trail for the last couple of years and absolutely love it.
Yolomites 5000, put on by ex pro CXer and general top fella Igor Tavella (runs a bike friendly hotel just outside Corvara and seems to be behind or involved in a lot of the Dolomites cycling initiatives).
Much smaller than the Superbike event, but whilst you're there ๐
