[Closed] Alu frame & carbon saddle - should I chamfer inside of seat tube?

As title - had a carbon post on my FF29 for a couple of distance events and taking it off to put the reverb back on i've noticed a bit of a line around the carbon where it meets the tube. Torqued up properly with carbon assembly paste.

I hate carbon - i've broken everything carbon i've owned so far... Should I be filing a bit of a chamfer on to the seat tube to lose the sharp edge?

sometimes it's not the seat tube causing a problem it's the lip on the seat clamp - it may have a slightly smaller internal diameter than the seat tube itself. I've got two Ti posts with noticeable 'rings' in them as a result of this ๐Ÿ™

Probably wouldn't hurt. Sharp edges are generally bad.

Won't do any harm, the mark in the seat post is most likely due to the carbon shaft flexing and effectively 'rubbing' on the top of the seat tube
