[Closed] Alternatives to an Exposure Revo dynamo light?

I've just bought an Exposure Revo/SP dyno hub from Wiggle, ready for my new audax-y road bike.

I've not got it working yet (awaiting the wheel build), but I'm disapointed to see it has no switch, so it basically stays on until the stand-light fades (about an hour apparently!) and takes a while to get up to full power. The B&M IQ Cyo I had on my Singular could switch off, so when started it could run on the standlight immediatly whilst getting up to speed. It also meant it could be switched off when, say locking the bike up outside a shop/pub and not draw attention to itself. Even with the light disconnected, the Revo will glow away in my pocket which I'd rather not.

I've asked Exposure if there's any way of incorporating a switch between the standlight capacitor and the LEDs. If there isn't, I may have to send it back ๐Ÿ™

I've been looking at alternatives. Supernova E3 seems to be the brightest, but apparently suffers a lot from low-speed flicker. B&M have a new light coming out soon, the Luxos, which looks good, but I can't find any compartive beam shots of it, and its not actually available yet.

Are there any others worth considering for a bonkers bright, ideally road-based lens, dynamo light?

Scroll down and theres some beam shots here, internet consensus seems to be philips is the best... http://swhs.home.xs4all.nl/fiets/tests/verlichting/index_en.html .

Don't own one myself (yet) but findig my maxx-d is still dazzling people, so thinking about building a dynamo wheel up. Most of the battery powered options seem to have short battery life.

I've been awaiting the new B&M light which looks very interesting.

AFAIK there isn't a decent alternative available, I considered the Revo.. but like a lot of Exposures lights it seems interesting but not particularly well thought out.

For commuting I currently use the battery version of the Philips Bike Light, the beam is great but the battery life sucks. I'm torn between modding it with a new controller and external battery or getting some sort of dynamo.
