Slight aside from another thread I have going so apologies if you've seen that.
I want to try somewhere other than PDS but mate coming only has 4 nights to play with.
Anywhere else that's easy to get around without needing guides to show the best areas?

What kind of riding? You can go anywhere for 4 nights.
Id pick aosta. Trailforks, a map and a good sense of direction if you like natural tech. Couple of half days at pila bike park and then use the lift to get you out into the hills and a couple of days exploring the area.
You could spend a full day at La Thuile too in Aosta, some great natural Enduro style trails there.
