The two new trails at the top, long, winding reds, are apparently closed because of the bad weather so we’ll have to start on an easy blue. This suits me fine, [b]because the sum total of my previous downhill experience is basically nil.[/b]

This is the stuff I struggle to understand... Why not make the grading more generic. What's the point in having a Red that's a Black of a Blue that's a Red.... or a Green...that could be anything. Surely it makes sense that the grading is done all over Europe to the same sort of specifications etc.
