Help! We're a family of 5 experienced DH riders. We've gone to Les Gets / Morzine each summer for the last 5 years. Fancy trying something new in the Alps but want decent DH trails and somewhere convenient and nice to stay (self catering). Ideally wouldn't be in a big town (usually stay in Les Gets, don't need nightlife) but able to ride in / out rather than take car to the lifts. What are Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes like for riding / living? Or should we just stick to the usual?
