I’ve used my nemo a couple of times now but I am struggling with keeping my pillow on it. It keeps falling off. So what are you using for a pillow and how do you keep it on the mattress?

Thanks

Don't know about the Nemo but on my Thermarest I just put a t-shirt or base layer over the end of the map into the torso bit and slide the pillow into the t-shirt.

Stops it wandering off in the night.

I can't believe I haven't thought of this. Head smacking moment. Brilliant.

I don't recall issues with my pillow (sleeping bag stuff sack filled with clothes!) sliding off. It definitely won't now though as my Numo has a slow puncture that I've failed to find 🙁

Although I've just noticed that Alpkit have a 3 year warranty and I've had it less than that so maybe they can find the hole and mend it for me!

I'm using either an OEX inflatable pillow or my down jacket packed into its pocket - they go into the hood of my sleeping bag.

Never mind the pillow, I can’t stay on my Nemo...

Just echoing the general ‘genius’ vibes to Tiger. A proper life-improving tip, thanks!

I prefer putting the pillow directly into the hood of the sleeping bag. You can buy pillows designed for such.

Finally got round to sending my Alpkit Numo back last week to see if they could find / mend the slow leak for me. Have just received a brand new one in the post this morning. Top work Alpkit!

I like Alpkit clothing but I've been disappointed with a couple of bits of their kit recently.  Bought a kelvin titanium mug and the push fit lid gradually popped off as soon as I put a hot drink in it, emailed them, they said send it back, they sent a replacement which did exactly the same, so sent it back for a refund.

Bought 4 Tau rear lights with a stated run time of 3 hours on high, the last 45 minutes to an hour. Advised alpkit, they said they would test a few and alter the spec on their website, they added '2.5 hours in colder temperatures' which is nonsense. I sent 2 back and kept 2 to use on flashing mode.

Disappointing really but I just don't think they test their kit properly.
