Is that a good price then?

Genuine question by the way.

not really up on Alpines, but it looks amazing to me.just fix a couple of bits...
hope brakes, pikes etc
The frame alone must be worth that, unless its stolen

Old Alpine 26” which from the description needs a group set and a rear wheel (shit Mavic with expensive spokes all of which will be seized solid) I think by the time you fix it you would’ve been better buying a straight one in the first place! Oh and no dropper! I actually think it’s strong money

Doesn’t seem an especially great deal for nearly complete, well used, at least 4 year old, 26” bike.

me - looks old / dated / probably with lots of worn out components. Plus it’s 26” wheel size and aren’t they renowned for the frames cracking in various places?

You can buy mine for £900 😉

(and mine hasn't fallen off the back of a lorry)

The advert does somewhat scream ‘stolen’ as does the BMX saddle.

Best viewed as a frame and fork with dome additional junk, I think. 26” RCT3 Pikes are quite sought after so probably £200-£250 there. £350-£400 for the frame is a bit high I think.

It's not cheap and it looks knackered

Don't think it's pinched just owned by someone who hasn't a clue

They are new from a shop....

Factor in a groupset, fork and shock service, at least a brake bleed if not a rebuild from Hope, new wheel and a dropper and it's a bit steep for a 26" Alu frame

Being sold by a Pawn Shop in Clacton which is next door to Jaywick...oh and the advertiser seems to have trouble spelling most words!
