Forgiving to what?
Carbon can be made in many different ways to be many different things with many different feels.I have subtle and flexible stuff, stiff and rigid and a mix of both

Read this, it's old but still worth it. You'll then know more than those saying a material is forgiving, etc and more than you'll get from an average thread on here (with all due, etc,)

Yup, that quote is bollocks .
"Forgiving" would generally mean comfortable, by flexing.
