My daughter is 8. Even she knows not to listen to weather reports. It is what it is.

I think it's all just a "cheer up, it'll be fine for the 'lympics, honest!" plea. A bit like when that council made their own weather forecast up saying it would be sunny to boost tourism.
I'm not normally this cynical.
