I have been asked by Alex's parents to try and round up any photos of Alex riding his bike and having fun to show at his service. I guess there will be a mix of friends and pro photographers who may be able to help.

Some new information which may be of some comfort is that it has been confirmed that Alex died peacefully in his sleep due to his heart stopping.

If you can help with photos please let me know via pm.

Bill

Hi Bill,

Sorry I don't post much on this forum and I can't work out how to send you a pm. I know Alex attended our uplift day on the 14th of April. The following is a link to the Roots and Rain website where some photos of the day are posted. You may be able to recognise a photo of Alex here.

Us here at the WDMBA were really upset by the news of Alex and we would like to express our dearest condolences to his family and friends at this very sad time.

Roger.

Thanks Roger. I was going to give you a bell about this. Alex's dad gave me your number.

Also, I'd be happy to post this request on our Facebook page if you like? We usually have a few photographers posting there quite often, some of which may have a few recent photos of Alex.

Roger.

Hi Bill,

It looks like I may be able to get some photos of Alex from some of the guys on our Facebook page.

If you could send me a message to my email address below, I'll get them sent over to you as soon as they send them to me:

rogerharris1980@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks.

Bill, I know a lot of people on bike radar will have pics, Alex was a regular (and well liked and respected) poster there.

I have tried to sign up to bike radar. I think I may have to wait a bit, but I will post on there.

http://www.cardiomyopathy.org/About_us.html. I was sent this link by Alex's sister. This is what he suffered from, unbeknownst to him.

Thanks for all the help,

Bill

I've just posted this up on Mynydd Du MTB on Facebook. A few members were at Rheola on the day.
