The latest load of Aldi kit is coming out next week - the helmets look like a bargain at a tenner inc a built in light but the big question is....do they meet safety standards? and if they don't, what exactly does that mean??

If they didn't meet the standard they'd not be allowed to sell them

I use one for commuting, not had to test it in a crash though 🙂

The safety standards for bike helmets being what ?
BS or BS EN ?
I genuinely don't know
By the way, a CE mark is NOT a third party approval ( like BSI for example), CE marks do not mean it has had any sort of tests done on it for performance

The aldi and lidl ones are both top rated helmets safety wise.
