Right what should be a simple swap has turned complicated. I have just swapped the wheels on my bike and now the rear brake is doing nothing. When I swapped the wheels I keep the rotors matching (i.e the rotors stayed on the same bike). After aligning the rear brake I lost all pressure in the lever and now when I pull it it goes all the way to the bar! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

There is no sign of lost fluid and I did not touch the lever. Anyone got any clues on whats up? They are Hayes Stroker Trails.

Cheers

Russ

Take out the wheel and pull the lever so the pistons close up a bit, look to see if they move evenly.
Put the wheel back in, not blindingly technical but it often works.
Just had the very same problem swapping wheels with the same rotors (mono mini)

Did you pull the lever with the bike upside down? If you did then it's likely you now have air that was previously sat harmlessly at the top of the reservoir, in the system.
