Does anyone if its re opened ?

Nope. I think it's going to reopen this year as a green trail or something so it'll be nothing like the old one.
Then we'll all be told that there has been massive investment in the trails and it'll be touted as a "new" trail, rather than than one closed which should have reopened years ago.
As you can tell, I don't have high hopes for the new penhydd.

Having a green is not such a bad idea, shame that the old Penhydd is gone though ๐Ÿ™ My favourite trail up there.

I'm guessing that'll be the end of hidden valley, argoed and maybe even sidewinder. Certainly all of the challenging bits!

Sidewinder was my favourite section in the whole valley... Shame ๐Ÿ™

can't see [url= http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ll=51.628121,-3.716758&spn=0.005028,0.009356&t=h&z=17&vpsrc=6 ]sidewinder [/url]having any issues regarding forestry as it was on an open grassy hill side for the most part, though could have be overgrown with that spikey tussock grass and they can't find it again.
