Hi all,
just serviced my 3 year old xtr pedals as they were loose - the axles had sheared off in the lock nut before I even had chance to apply any force - one side had totally sheared when i took the pedal body off !
weird - heard of this before - anyone else suffered this ? had it on an old set of 520s years ago...
The metal is all pale grey and looks sub standard
hey ho - stuff breaks...

JIT maintinance
I use Crank Bros pedals and go for a Just Too Late maintenance regime.
(have scars on lower legs to prove it)
