Last time I asked, we decided it was better to just zip tie to the top tube. But I'm never happy with a bodge, so I've been thinking.

I'm considering respraying the frame, so one option is to get some metal cable guides and araldite them to the frame before spraying. I've had plastic stick on ones, they don't last.

Other more controversial option is to drill holes in the frame for internal routing and get some grommets.

Last option is to convert to 1x and reuse the front mech routing but that might cost more.

What's the frame and how is the rear brake and gears currently routed? Do you use the front mech routing?  Etc etc etc......

If you have a hose/cable already running slong the top tube then just fasten the dropper cable to it in two or three places with very small cable ties. It’s what I do anyway.
