Morning all

I want to add a front mech to my Travers Russti. Whilst I love the simplicity of 1 x 11 I find I spin out too early and don’t have the legs for a bigger single ring.

Travers do some jiggery pokery to the frame if you ask for 2 x when they build it but I’m wondering if there are any after market solutions anyone has tried? Something that pushes it out far enough...

Have a look at Problem Solvers. Only solution I found for my Fargo.

FS1328, this is the Boost one. Just make sure the rest of the dims work with your frame. It comes with spacers to fit different down tubes. Got mine from Bikemonger

I think you'll want one of these and a DM derailleur

It shouldn't be a problem. The chainline on a double should be no worse than with a single ring except perhaps if you are crossing small to small. The main issue is if the frame has clearance for a double chainset at the chainstay
