hahahahahahahahahahahahaha don't even consider it! have a look at various threads on here they are possibly the worst bike shop/website to deal with.......ever.....in the whole world.....I'd rather put my face in a bucket of grumpy badgers than ever have to deal with them again

Bad experience here...phoned before ordering to confirm the item was in stock...placed order...waited about a week and chased it, was told it was still in transit...tried to cancel, was told I could cancel but not get a refund until the goods arrived back at their shop. Chased again two weeks later and asked if the parcel was lost, they said it was STILL in transit...phoned daily after that chasing it until they admitted it was lost and finally gave a refund....it was infuriating at the time as I was about to move house and wanted to finish a new build so I could pack the gear away...will never deal with them again....good pricing is pointless if the item never arrives...

i almost ordered a frame from these guys, but the guy's attitude over the phone completely changed my mind. it was potentially a big spend, so i had a few questions (such as what size, delivery time, what's in stock etc) and this was apparently a problem for him, he was quite rude over the phone

i know others have dealt with them with no probs, but i steered clear on this occasion

I have a hoodlum and..... I would never buy another one. The hood is useless as there are no draw strings, the fit isn't the best either. My zip broke after a year of very light use i.e I just wore it hanging around in.

I've been reading this forum for a while and thought its about time I signed up and revealed the truth about Mark Anthony. I guessed there might be a few threads complaining about him and I was'nt wrong.

I don't really want to say exactly how I know this buti am sure most of you will work it out.

I know Mark and how he operates, it's an absolute disgrace how he treats people.
He simply doesn't have a conscience what so ever and just treats ever sale as his next meal to ticket.

He doesn't really have much knowledge of bikes and will deliberately lie to make a sale. He will more often than not lie about having stock in wn he knows full well it's not in just to get the sale. He treats people like Sh1t and I can't believe he has been in business for as long as he has.

He is very rude and once he has taken you're money he doesn't want to know.
The website says he has a warehouse where he keeps all his stock. This is not true at all, how he gets away with this I'll never know. He is nothing more than a conman and I am sure what he is doing must be illegal.

He's gone from Mark Anthony to Bikes Direct to Active Sport for what I can only presume is to promote a new image because the old name became so tarnished.
He is on stop with most suppliers and owes a lot of money.

If you do receive your goods it's not because he made an effort or is any good it's because you got lucky.
The sooner he stops trading he better.

It doesn't stop at the cycle business, he'll try and make money any way he can. Bouncy castle hire or even selling scooters (motor bikes).

Basically he is trying to live a lifestyle he can't afford, has no morals and will do anything he can to try and carry on living his fancy lifestyle.

Avoid like the plague!!!! You have been warned.

I didn't work for him to do with anything bike related, but I was around at the shop and home a good bit to see what was going on. I feel sorry for anyone that has been stung by him.

I bought some Middleburn cranks and rings from them. They took a while to arrive and then order wasn't complete. I telephoned and they said they'd get the missing ring out ASAP. To be fair it arrived a few days later.

E forst delivery took a couple of weeks to arrive but it did arrive eventually.

I'd use again if I wasn't in any particular hurry for the stuff as some of their prices are good.

Also, ages back I bought a saddle from Mark Anthony bikes. It arrived in good time. Second one I bought never arrived but I did get a refund when I emailed.

Have to lol at the last comment. It's the worst positive review I have ever seen.
Each order you placed you had problems with and you were still happy?

Who in their right mind would order something and not be bothered when or if they even get it.
