Ok im looking to get my dad an action cam to stick to the side of his motor. just for fun stuff. I might get two so i can take one on the MTB.
I know you can get the go pros for 90 quid but tbh im tight so im looking at one of the chilli technology ones http://www.chilli-tech.com/products/land/Mini-Cam-Pro-HD
or one of the ones from china.
Any tips or advice on what to get?

I looked into this a short while ago, and take a lot of time to make a decision...
Chinese go-pro's have, on the whole, poor battery life (circa 40 minutes). Money saved though could go on lots of spare batteries.
In the end I got a Veho Muvi K2 from sport pursuit for a great price.
Another option that I bought into was the SJ4000.
There is a large thread on here about them. Batteries are fine, they last a fair while. Loads of accessories and mounts with it for les than £99.
Just make sure your ordering a genuine one.
yea how can you tell your getting a genuine one?
