Can anyone recommend inexpensive accommodation convenient for riding in the Quantock hills.

I'm looking for somewhere for a Friday night and possibly the Saturday night, in mid to late November.

Certain members of the group (about 6 of us) are reluctant to camp so I was thinking of wooden camping pods, lodges, hostel or B&B?

Its a scout hut, has showers, kitchen, good drying room, and you sleep on mattresses on the floor. And its 200 yds from the trails. And it works out less than a tenner a night for 6 people. And there's no-one near so you can turn the music up loud.

Stayed there loads of times, always great!

Stayed at the Rose & Crown, Nether Stowey a couple of years ago in November for a similar trip.

Can't rememeber how much it was but it wasn't pricey when sharing a room/rooms. Large bike store + bike wash (hose), hearty evening meals and beer of course. Worth a look.
