I am about to fit some Shimano RS505 levers with Shimano SLX caliper to my bike.
Will the MTB brake hoses work with the Levers? Will I need to get Road specific ones to get it to work? I figure I should get everything now not the usual getting halfway through and finding i need loads of parts.

As long as the fittings are correct then the hose itself will be fine. RS505 levers use the wider bore SM-BH59 as standard as this supposedly aids modulation. Using an MTB hose SM-BH90 with the narrow bore will give a slightly less modulated feel.
