It's his 30th birthday in june this year and i would love to take him somewhere for a long weekend of biking fun.

We live in the south west, so maybe north wales, though i'm open to other suggestions. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas on bike friendly accomodation or campsites with good riding near by??

A weekend in wales, great idea. I'd say it depends what type of stuff you like riding. If you fancy somewhere with a bit of everything consider Barmouth. It's not far from CYB, theres plenty of good riding out in the hills (Pont Scethin perhaps) and the place is a bit more lively than Dolgellau.

We rode Pont Scethin in september... great trail. 2 really big climbs but some great decending..

A visit to mid wales never goes a miss. That's why I moved back here nearly 8 years ago ๐Ÿ˜‰

His small toe - bone is very short so it would be a short break! Although I reckon buying him a gift rather than hurting him would be a better idea (although a breakage would probably be more memorable!).

The Lakes? Great riding and you're spoiled for accomodation.
