So I'm going to increase my Yari to 150mm, have seen the DebonAir air spring upgrades, watched the install videos, etc. But all of that makes me think there is only one air spring in a fork... Is this right? My need for symmetry in all things makes me uncomfortable about the whole situation.
Also I don't want to just buy one spring, take my fork to bits and then realise I should have bought two.
Yeap one air spring. Forks are typically spring one side damper the other. Some old forks had springs and dampers both side (original Z1) but not modern stuff.

Yep, as nixie suggests, the spring side holds you up while the damper side controls the speed of the fork's compression (going into its travel) and rebound (coming back again).

Wouldn't hurt if you're unsure to stick your serial # into the rockshox trailhead.
Check its not a Dual Pos Air ... also you can click upgrades and it tells you the product number for the airshaft you need.
First time download the manual and use a PDF editor to remove all the bits not for your fork. It looks WAY less intimidating with all the stuff for other forks removed.
Also nice pics so you'll see what goes where.
It's dead easy really btw... but well worth having the manual to hand, pressures and clicks recorded AND PRESSURE REMOVED!!!!
