I thought I should apologize to those I offended whilst on my ride on Saturday evening - met quite a few other riders, and realise how upset some of you might be that I wasn't wearing a helmet. Trouble is, it was only when I met the large group at the top of Cave Dale (anybody here riding in that?) I realised what it was I was missing, and at that point thought I might as well just carry on.
Was a great ride though - managed to miss most of the showers.
I'm more offended by the way you spell "apologise".
Who on earth would be offended by somebody else not wearing a helmet? How does that work?

Did you crash and die horribly because you were not wearing a helmet? No, so unless for reasons above don't worry about it.
I am never offended by riders with no lid on just looking to see what there bike is in case of a nasty crash.......
