The requirements are pretty simple, I'm thinking of a new bike and I've a list but can't seem to find what I'm after -

140mm travel full suspension
2x10 gearing that isn't Sram
Dropper post
27.5/650b - 26 is perfectly fine but it is being dropped and I'm really not convinced 29 is right
Had Fox shocks since 05, happy to give RS a shot
I've discovered I'm a bike kit snob and would like as much XT as possible - got SLX on a bike and it isn't as crisp or precise as XT - shifting or braking
Ideally below £3k
Not fussed about frame material

This is just a thinking thing just now so not looking to buy outright but all my looking just now seems to be showing me loads of 1x11 systems...I've no interest in that, when I have the legs/lungs again I want to pedal up as well as down the hills.

I don't ride hard and I don't generally do jumps...saying that, the fitter I get, the faster and slightly harder I ride. I'm perfectly aware that this will be more bike than I need...I'm more interested in the bike working than having top-notch kit so although I want XT XT, at that price very few come with a lot.

Looking around I can't find anything that is ticking all those boxes - apart from the Canyon Strive...there must be others?
